Too long since last post

Wow has it really been since November since my last blog? I guess so. With everything going on (not to mention my new nerdiness obsession with HP FF) I have neglected the blog. Nothing much going on in the Wilson home. In the broader Wilson family there is more going on! Jamie and Jeff Eckert welcomed in a baby boy to the family yesterday. Jeff was able to be with Jamie as she went through several hours of labor and an eventual C-section. Congratulations to mom and baby as they are both healthy. We had an 80th birthday party for Dan's gram last weekend. It was a lovely time and I learned many new things regarding my favorite Imbrognos. Suprisingly Mickey is starting to settle down. Not that anyone else can tell, but she no longer jump on me when I get home and calms quicker when new company comes. She still jumps on new people --just ask Nicky and Louie. Christmas and New Years were both quiet events for us. Although there are still the super cute times when you can remember just how wonderful life can be.

Oh yea I also discover some psychic ablilities that I have. I'm not sure if any one you have heard but they say if you have a dream about death there will be a birth. Tuesday night I had a dream that my Aunt Jo died (she is 94 and just had surgery). In the morning I knew it wasn't possible because Diane (her daughter) called me, which would never happen, the caller ID said Baltimore Regional (she is at Presby), and the area code was 716 (which is Buffalo and surrounding areas). I find out Wed afternoon Jamie is in labor. Yes, now I need to start learning how to tune my abilities.

I made several resolutions this year. One is for me to not knit pick at Dan as much in public. Another is to stop discussing my feelings for certian people, letting the past be in the past. This will by far be the most difficult for me as truth be told I will be haunted by this until others see what I was forced to learn the hard way. I guess I will hate to see what happened to me happen to others but there is no other way. It is not for me to judge others perception. I will accept what transpired and move past it. Of course this does not mean I will be renewing the friendship but rather no longer talking about its demise.

It is a new year which mean some things will change others will stay the same. The Wilson name gets a new member in August and I can't wait for Nicole to help me bring some sanity to the name. The Eckerts have a new baby and hopefully new life comes with new hope! Then you still will run into old classmates and try to make friendships stronger. Hope that friends don't move away and that others move home.

Wow that was long hopefully next time will be sooner with my thoughts on the Mitchell Report and the upcoming baseball season for Burg!
